Brenner turned 6 months old on Tuesday. He had his 6 month checkup today and did great. He got a couple more shots and weighed in at 20 lbs, 5 oz and was 27 inches long. 2'3"!
He's been eating rice cereal at his dinner feeding for a few weeks and today he moved on to carrots (liquidy form) AND water out of a sippy cup. He was a bit fussy, probably due to the shots, but he did eat some (as seen in the video below). The doctor said most babies take a while to figure out the sippy cup, but he basically took to it right away! In a few more days we'll start adding another food and the plan is one different food every few days to make sure you know what he's allergic too in case one of them causes any reaction.
