On Saturday, we were in the backyard with the boys when Braxton stood up on a patio chair (that had been moved to the grass), it tipped, and he went forehead first into a landscaping stone. His head immediately started gushing blood and we were freaked out (well, mainly Mommy). We grabbed everything as quick as possible and left for the ER). In our rush, we would've forgotten a couple of things, but Brenner stopped us and told us to grab ice for Braxton's head and a couple of toys for Braxton to play with at the hospital!
We got to the ER at about 1:30, got in pretty quick, and had a good doctor. Both boys were great considering this all happened during their normal nap time.
The doctor put numbing cream on Braxton's head, then squirted something in his nose to "make him drunk" so he wouldn't move as much during the stitching. We held him as still as possible during the 5 or 6 stitches and now he's all good. Hopefully no big scar but it's close to the hairline anyways, so shouldn't be too prominent.
Braxton only cried for about 1 minute when it first happened and was great otherwise! Added bonus is that we were home by 4 and daddy only had to miss the beginning of the big Michigan - Michigan State football game!
