4th of July at the lake

We hit the lake for a long weekend last week to celebrate the 4th. We were there for about 4 days and there were many others up there, including Uncle Matt, Aunt Julie, cousins Lang, Audrey, and Edy. Cousins Ivy and Isabelle were up there for a couple days too, as well as a full house of 15ish next door at David's house.

We spent most of the non-nap daytime hours at the "beach" so the boys could play in the sand, build sand castles, build "3 Clam Lake" (Brenner's name for it), etc.

Drawing/Coloring time with Ivy (8) and Isabelle (11)

Ivy could probably seriously run her own daycare right now at age 11. At one point she was watching 2 sets of twins (both under 1), changing all their diapers, carrying them around, playing, etc.

This is how most of the time was spent. Isabelle's in the background building a "secret sandcastle" for Brenner

Early morning playtime at Matt/Julie's cabin with the girls (they rented the house next door for space reasons and since Braxton decided to wake up at 5:30 every day and so did their girls, he and I would walk over there so we wouldn't wake others up)
