Gameday! Alabama vs. Georgia

Being a partly Alabama family that lives in Georgia, we were all pretty excited for the SEC Championship game last week that paired Alabama and Georgia and was being played down the road from us at the Georgia Dome. ESPN College Gameday was broadcasting from Centennial Park in the morning so we went down to check it out. We mainly played in the park, but we checked it out a bit, the weather was great, and we all had fun.

ESPN Gameday broadcasting in the background, not the Michigan flag behind us!

Walking towards the Gameday truck. Big crowd as the Alabama cheerleaders and Al (the elephant) were right there, just about ready to escort Notre Dame's coach Brian Kelly over to the set (we saw him walk by a few minutes later)

Checking out the ice rink that's set up in the park. It was open but not very busy!

Checking out the park including the one slide that was really cool because it wasn't just a normal, flat slide, but a bunch of rollers that feel weird and make you slide faster

The boys got to meet the Georgia dog - UGA. Not totally sure if it was the real one or not?

After Gameday, we stopped by Home Depot where they were doing a Kids Workshop. The boys got to build and decorate a new picture frame. Plus, they got to go home with their own, personal Home Depot apron.
